I have also constructed a small 800 sq ft two story cedar log home at Big Gull Lake in the Rideau Lake District, later I added an 1860 circa log cabin, bought and dismantled in Quebec, transported to Ontario by road, and floated 4 miles up the lake, and installed and renovated using the old traditional pioneer methods.
